Thanks to its special construction, a Skogsland Dome fits perfect into its surroundings and complements nature with its organic shape.
The special concept provides space for spirituality and offers unique acoustics. When used as a greenhouse, the sunlight can always shine in at the optimal angle and thus helps to secure the yield or to quickly heat up a leisure dome inside. The windows face all directions, allowing optimal ventilation at the same time.
The usable area is not disturbed by constructions or beams. The dome is self-supporting and gives you room to breathe.
Even in climatically demanding environments with strong winds or meters of snow, the round shape offers little surface area. The wind blows past the dome and snow just slides down. The self-supporting construction also offers very high stability both internally and externally. So nothing stands in the way of a possible interior design.

History and Concept
The origins of Skogsland Domess date back to the mid-20th century and spring from the innovative spirit of architect R. Buckminster Fuller. His vision was to create a structure that would provide maximum space and stability with a minimum of material, which led to the birth of the geodesic dome.
The geodesic dome is a spherical structure consisting of a network of triangles. These triangles form a self-supporting framework that provides unparalleled strength and efficiency. This design makes it possible to cover large areas without internal supports and create large, open spaces.
